Project Overview

Granite Peak Outfitters is a fictional e-commerce project designed to create a clear, supportive shopping experience that helps campers find, compare, and choose the right gear with confidence.

The Problem

Outdoor gear websites often overwhelm users with too many options, complex product information, and a lack of guidance for first-time campers.

The Goal

Design an approachable and efficient shopping experience that helps users easily discover, compare, and purchase the right gear for their adventures.

Understanding the Users

To help define the needs of Granite Peak Outfitters' target users, I used AI-assisted persona development to explore two representative user types: a first-time family camper and an experienced solo hiker. These personas helped guide decisions around navigation, product information, filtering, comparison, and beginner-friendly guidance.
